Our “Steven” chair is flying high with its name derived from Steven Allan Spielberg. With a seat height of 76 cm this chair is, like its namesake, one of the highest in the world of film. Steven Spielberg is considered to be one of the most successful ever directors and producers (measured by the box-office income of his films).

It is rare to go through life without having seen one of his films. Some of his most famous works include Jurassic Park, E.T. and War of the Worlds, among others. He has already been nominated for 15 Oscars!

Information on the type of wood and the upholstery fabric used for the chair

 

 

The brown lacquer of this model, which is produced exclusively in the EU, protects the solid beech wood. At the same time, the grain remains visible and is gets a darker, nut brown tone. The hinges and/or fittings are all made exclusively of steel.
Please notice that beech wood in general is not weather-proof. The chair can not be left outside permanently. Please simply fold it and store it, if it's not used.
For pure outdoor purposes please have a look at our directors chair Oscar in Iroko wood (similar to teak).

The dark green covers seem like a strong pine-green. They are water resistant, durable and lightfast. The intense colors stay remarkably expressive for years.

Sehr schöner Stuhl / perfekter Kundenservice

Der Stuhl ist sehr robust und sieht zudem sehr gut aus. Passt perfekt auf unseren Balkon.
Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle auch an Frau Schoeck: Es wurden zwei Stühle bestellt. Die Lieferung kam sehr schnell und der Austausch eines Stuhles aufgrund eines kleinen "Defekts" verlief völlig unkompliziert und ebenfalls innerhalb eines Tages. Top-Service! :-)
